I keep looking on metcheck, and it's looking good for the weekend. Either that, or my beer goggles are completely misted up. As they will be 36 hours from now anyway. So will I give a f**k? Absolutely not And may I ask stormmonkey how will your manliness keep you warm???

am I forced to comment here on how repetitive arm movement tends to warm one up?
Sorry not a personal comment but couldnt resist!

And may I ask stormmonkey how will your manliness keep you warm??? You're clearly not manly enough if you don't even know the warming power of manliness! I suggest you grow a beard and drink a six pack of Stella. Then, and only then, will you know the true strength of man-power.

Well, Metcheck has changed again, and this time it's saying we're going to have light rain on Saturday and showers on Sunday.
Still not bad though.

The BBC Weather version of the forecast is slightly better, so I'm going to believe them now.

I appear to have developed a fixation with the weather.

if you go the the metcheck main page and look at the 'about' section it appears to be done by a chap in America who just likes the weather - its not aprofessional forecast as far as I can tell. The MET Office 'deep thought' computer is about the most reliable (in the world) and IM afriad its looking a touch wet on Sat and Sun but only 'light rain' but that has changed since yesterday and it could all change again by tomorrow - how unpredictable is the weather!!

Be prepared for torrential rain and high winds...then anything better will seem fantastic

Apart from the fact that it wouldn't be much of a weekend away and that Glanusk Park is prettier than Cannon Hill Park, it's a good job Green Man isn't been held in Brum - it's pissed down here for the past 2 days. Good to hear it's better in the Brecon Beacons.

I am now going down the woods to offer up a pint of Rhymney Breweries Bevan Bitter and a Peter's Pie to the River Deity of the Severn, Nodens, and the local Godess of rain and water Cyhiraeth. You'll know if its worked.
