I've been on a diet, okay, for a month or two. I've been doing pretty well, but I was expecting a festival to be a bit of a setback.
Anyway, with surprisingly healthy food and God knows how many miles walked, it seems that I've lost more weight during the festival than I usually would in civilian life.
My "going home jeans" were somewhat snug last time I put them on, but I found myself having to stop to pull the buggers up during the walk back up to the car on Monday to avoid giving passers-by a good look at my arse.
Granted, at work I'm behind a desk pretty much all day, but it's still a pleasant surprise. Maybe Green Man should be advertised in slimming magazines.

I thought the food was generally ACE again although variable value for money was evident - eg. the Kebabs were very paltry whereas the Chinese stands food was piled high on the plate. My 6 year old loved the wee school's hotdogs. As a parent I'd like to see more, cheaper kiddies portions being made available.

Yeah, that's true, some places gave you more than others. The chinese stuff was my first meal at Green Man, and after that I was expecting everyone to pile my plate high with stuff.

I don't think I lost weight... My lovely neighbours kept cooking for me.
And I have burrito addiction.

Actually put weight on but my waist got thinner! Think it all went on leg muscles from trudging through the mud and yomping up and down the hill to the car!

A festival with decent bitter on sale and you lose weight! You silly, silly man.

A lack of alcohol was definitely not the reason I lost weight!

Well...I spent most of the time drinking, and when i wasn't drinking I was working my way round the different food stalls - so my prediction was that my weight would go up in direct proportion to my bank balance going down. But, according to some of the posts here, maybe there is the possibility that I lost weight! (and pulling a fully loaded trolley up the steep slope to the carpark, on the last day, was definitely an intensive work-out... ) So, as long as I don't weigh myself there is always the chance that I am lighter (but I wouldn't want to ruin the fantasy my actually checking... )
