Couple of things. A negative and a sort of positive.

I felt like talkers during sets were more of a problem than usual this time, or was it just me?

Was worst for Sister Wives. I was right near the front and think I'd have really enjoyed them, but just couldn't get away from people chatting.

And has anyone noticed that loud talkers at Green Man always have a similar accent and voice?

On a lighter note, I see lots of people are now using walkie talkies to keep in touch with their groups. That's clever.

I was at the very front for Sister Wives and was so totally absorbed I wouldn’t have heard the bastards talking. So fucking annoying. Want a chat? Fine, stay at the back. Wankers.

It’s unfortunately part and parcel of festival these days. I think Green Man is much better than most festivals, though. I didn’t have any massive issues apart from Lankum where I was quite literally front and centre yet two ladies had brought their respective young children and were just chatting as a group for large parts of it.

It's possibly the only thing that is able to diminish the Green Man experience for me. I'd happily take Friday's weather all day, every day if it meant an end to those selfish fuckers.

They seem to think that the music is there as a background to their inane chat. Most of them actually automatically stop talking when the music stops! They absent-mindedly clap and then wait for the next tune to begin so that they can recommence talking shite.

We had to move THREE times during Ceitidh Mac's set in Chai Wallahs early on Friday but at least by then "Bri" had told his friend exactly how long it took him to pitch his tent and given a full description of Thursday night's food choice. He was hoping that it wouldn't be toooo rainy a day but if it was he did have his wellies back at the tent and anyway he could go to the comedy tent and was that Dylan Moran fellow the same one who ... ?

I think that's why i enjoyed Amyl and The Sniffers so much, very few pauses between songs and loud as fuck, no chance for conversation !
