Hello chums, I will need to disappear for 24 hours on Thursday afternoon until Friday early evening this year. Does anybody have experience of booking a taxi to Abergavenny railway station? Contact telephone numbers appreciated. Ta x

Try pre-booking with Crickhowell Taxis on 01873 811764 or 01873 810479. Assume numbers are still correct. I’ve only done it once from site to Abergavenny but many times to Crickhowell. There is a regular bus service from Crick to Abergavenny too.

The shuttle buses will be on, I expect you will be able to hop on one to the Station without difficulty.

That’s a good point. Of course they’ll be running on the Thursday and Friday. I don’t imagine it would be a problem hopping on the bus in opposite direction.

Thanks, good point, Nathan. How quickly do the shuttle buses make the journey from the station to the festival site?

hmmm, well, not sure. I've only generally done it when the traffic is heavy in the direction I am going! Heading back to the station on a Thursday will be clear(er). A half hour travel time I would guess! Make sure you get one to the Station and not just the park and ride!
