I finally got to see Lankum last night almost three years after they were due to play at Green Man. It was worth the wait. Glad I’ll get to see them again at Green Man this year. Do you reckon they’ll be on the Mountain Stage?

Love their latest album and looking forward to seeing them at GM. Probably on the Mountain Stage, but can also see them headlining Walled Garden (although it would be packed).

I'm hoping they add some more dates to the European part of their tour next February, that looks like my best chance of seeing them.

Great to see the Lankum love!
Fantastic band. Maybe even Far Out headliners?
No.1 on my GM must-see list this year.

saw sylvie last night at their first london show
have to say i've been ambivalent about the record - bit too slick for my taste
but live they were ridiculously good
7 piece band, three of whom are UK pick up - including the pedal steel player
tight as fuck - and having the BEST time
on to my must see list at EOTR immediately

Another shout out for Islet here. They were excellent last Friday in Cardiff playing the inaugural Celebrate This Place (named after the Islet EP from 2010) festival. Other honorable mentions for Saloon Dion, C.O.F.F.I.N, Lambrini Girls, Bug Club, Dream Wife and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets at the same festival.

Off to see GA-20 in Chester this Thursday, really good blues band from Boston. They're doing a couple of UK dates this week.

Kevin Morby in Manchester tonight was utterly fantastic supported admirably by Macie Stewart who also played violin and sung back up in Kevin's band.

Filling the void watching Glastonbury.
Who knew Rick Astley and Blossoms doing a Smith's covers set would be so good.
Sparks and WMC both really good and Murder Capital showing the Monkeys what a live show should be like.
Fever Ray the highlight for me so far,so good I've watched them again today.

I still have to catch up on much of the Glastonbury coverage but good to see quite a few who are also playing Green Man. Young Fathers and Comet Is Coming had good reviews and both on my must see list. Can’t help thinking now would have been a great time to book Sparks.

Sparks would be a great GM headliner.
Watched a bit of the coverage. Ezra Collective and UMO were very good. Loved Cat/Yusuf and Elt.

Some good stuff at Llais festival in Cardiff this October. A re-formed Rachel Unthank & The Winterset will play The Bairns at The Unthanks All-Dayer; Bat For Lashes; James Yorkston and Nina Persson; Gwenno; and an evening with guests celebrating Joni Mitchell’s Both Sides Now and Travelogue.
