Excellent news. I have n't seen him before, but he seems interseting.

I was a huge fan of the Soft Boys (Hitchcock once nicked a packet of No6 off me at the Metro Club in Plymouth in 1978) and the Egyptians but haven't bought any of his stuff since the mid-90s (there comes a point where you feel you don't need any more songs about globes of frogs or birds in perspex coming alive) but he should be great value live (wonder if he'll have his latest band which includes Peter Buck of REM?). His blend of psychedilia and English whimsy was made for Green Man.
About time they announced the final line-up isn't it?

After all that excitement, seems like he might not actually be playing at all! According to his official website he's appearing with with Joe Boyd in "The Chinese White Bicycle Show" in the Literature Tent.

Did you make it to this? It was an excellent talk/performance with a number of interesting covers played by Robyn.
