Excellent to see that King Creosote, James Yorkston and young Johnny Pictish will be performing together and that Pictish will be doing his own set. Am I being too greedy to hope that Kenny and James will also be doing their own sets?
Got tickets for KC at the Glee Club next month and his latest (Flick the Vs) is a masterpiece (again). His set was the highlight for me last year (along with the jaw-dropping set from Caribou). GM isn't GM without KC and JY sets.
Now if it'd just warm up a bit I might start getting excited.

I'll answer my own message - texted a message to KC who was doing a fab session for Marc Riley last night (best show on the radio by many country miles) and he confirmed that there won't be a KC set this year, just the Three Craws set with James Yorkston and Pictish Trail. Aw shucks!

but there are lots of other fence people about - Love Stop Repeat, Rozi Plain, the Aliens (yeah i know not strictly Fence) and Player Piano. Oh and i've heard rumours that Stephen Cracknell's doing his Wickerman performance with (he hinted at this when I saw him up at Anstruther at Homegame) a selection of fence types...............

Oooh, now you're getting me all excited! I caught Player Piano on the recent KC/PT tour and was well impressed. Then I got his 'Into the Dark' ep which is astonishgly good - this guy should be huge, a real talent. Love.Stop. Repeat sound pretty good too.
Jealous about Homegame - I'd love to go sometime but not really practical with two young kids. I occasionally fantasise about landing a job at St Andrews Uni so we could move up to the Neuk!
