Hi all, I have been planning a trip to Green Man Festival, the band list seems really awesome so far... I'm from Finland and don't know really that much about British festival etiquette or how things work around there (I went to the Wireless last year to see Morrissey but that's not a real mud-camping-festival really : These might sound really silly, but I've got a few questions before I'm brave enough to buy the ticket ;D Is it wise to come alone? I'm used to travelling alone but I worry about my tent and my stuff (will some hobo empty my tent when I go to toilet? etc..) Is the camping site free? Do I just have to buy the festival ticket, and that allows me to camp or what? How much is the camping if it costs? I couldn't find this info anywhere.. Thanks a lot in advance! I'm really looking forward to see some British countryside and rocking bands

Hi Seasique! Don't suppose camping at any festival can ever be entirely secure but I've never heard of any tent pilfering at Green Man. Camping is included in the price of the ticket and you can arrive on the Thursday (or even earlier if you get a holiday ticket) - check out the main site (link above) for details.

green man is probably the friendliest and safest festival around in my (15 year) experience of uk festivals.
see you there...
