Hello, OK, now getting to panic stations......if I do not succeed with a rideshare what is the best way to come from London? London to cardiff? London to Birmingham to Newport? I know it is in Abergavenny.............bit there doesnt seem to be buses going any further then Newport....I have found a good price for bus to there but if it looks miles away so thats just silly... are there shuttles from any of the stations? I dont get in till about 930-10pm and will be myself so a lil freaked about wandering the streets..... any advice will be great! Thanks

I don't think it's very long on the train from Newport to Abergavenny. So coach then train might be an option. Probably not too bad from Cardiff either.
I know getting a train all the way will cost loads, so coach then train might be the best option.

Not looked at this properly but there is a Cardiff-Crickhowell bus www.sixtysixty.co.uk/X43v6.pdf . Not knowing the area very well I can't tell you how close to the site that gets you (you might be better staying on to Abergavenny and getting the shuttle bus back?)

That's an interesting bus option blackcatista. However it does go the 'long way round' and takes over two hours from Cardiff to Crickhowell. I imagine it passes by the main entrance to the site, but may not stop until Crickhowell village. The train from Newport to Abergavenny is less than half an hour and probably wouldn't cost much more

Hey Soda, from London it's very simple. Get to Paddington station via the underground and catch a train to Abergavenny, one change i think. Only a 2.45 hour journey. From Abergavenny the greenman shuttle bus takes you to the festival through Crickhowell.
Booking now the price is 56 pound return.
failing that, Greenman has hired an independant coach service that leaves from Paddington station on the thursday and takes you straight to the festival and back on the monday. The price of this is 49 pound for the return ticket.
Lovely Jubb.
