The standard of food outlets is amazing at the Green Man. I urge everyone to try a Pieminister pie - although fairly expensive you'll see a huge queue at their stand all festival long. They were awesome. Also the Thali Box from the Indian place was excellent too. I also enjoyed the free icecreams that MOJO magazine gave away on the Sunday The Tea and Toast van was pricey but offered a welcome brew to those who need it.

Mmmmmm, hope to work my way around the varied food stalls again this year. Hope the french potato and sausage place is there again (the one wth the giant frying pans next to the crepe stall).

Pieminister and the Indian thali place were my top selections from last year, and the mexican fajita place was good too (& the staff serving really heaped your plate high!) but I advise anyone who wants ice cream to try the mango and chilli flavour ... how I have pined for it over the past year. This is always assuming the same food providers have been booked again...

Pieminister are going to be at Green Man again this year according to their myspace. Re. Pieminister people need to be prepared to buy some food to eat whilst they are standing in the queue for the Pieminister

Anywhere where one might get a nice crisp salad, preferably some sort of tomato, mozzarella & basil concoction. One likes to incorporate SOME greenery into three days of pies & fahahajita.

One word of warning - do not, under any circumstances, try the 'hot chocolate' from the Tea & Toast van. 'Grey-brown blobs floating in lukewarm dishwater' would be a more accurate assessment. Bleaugh. Lovely toast, though, and generous with the toppings...
I'm definitely going to brave the Pieminister queues this year. Hope the Morrocan place is back, too. Was so impressed with the standard of food (hot choc notwithstanding...) last year. And the free ice creams were a lovely touch!

I'm definitely going to brave the Pieminister queues this year Yeah, I'm going to give it a go, this year, too. Last year the queues were always so long - and there were always so many good alternatives - that I missed out on the Pieminister experience Hmmm...I wonder if it will be open on the Thursday? If so, my first job (even before putting up my tent...) might have to be the purchase of a pie before 'the masses' get to them...

I wasn't a fan of the tea and toast van after I realised their "freshly squuezed orange juice" was the cheap asda concentrated stuff. The cafe next to it did a good breakfast though.
