I'm going to try to set off a lot earlier this year and therefore be there in plenty of time to go to the meet. I've just done Glastonbury and the journey both ways was atrocious, so I'm considering setting off at some unearthly hour to be at Green Man early doors.

Actually I was going to suggest having it in Chris's tent so that he'd have no excuse not to be there  Unfortunately I won't be there 'till Friday this year so don't drink the bar dry on Thursday night please  |

I'm up for a meet if anyone else is. Obviously if nobody else is then it won't technically be a meet, just me standing somewhere.

I will be in the courtyard at 8.00pm, reading the Daily Mirror(!) sitting at one of the tables. I am, unfortunately, a boring looking chap who will be drinking beer. I will thus stand out amidst the more exotic Green Man attendees who are , I understand, richly bearded if male, hirsuite and drinking exotic brews from around the world.

I'll be there from the Monday. Does this mean I have to polish the glasses in the pub? I suspect I will have had far too much Penderyn from the offie in Crickhowell (was going to ride my bike down, but cycling 120 miles with 2 weeks kit was I think overdoing it), so I'm going to get some hillwalking in instead :-)
Thursday meet up in the pub? Shall we wear daffodils or something. Due to work my beard growth is rubbish.

Unfortunately circumstances overtook me this year and I won't be there at all!
Gutted to be missing a Green Man, but I shall be doin gmy utmost to be there next year. Have a great time those who are there, have a lamb stir fry for me!

Sounds like I chose a good year to miss weather-wise at least. Hope it improves for the people who are there. Just remember how much fun was had in 2008 despite the downpour that year!
