Another meet?

Now, last year was a giggle, but, and no offence to those who did turn up (2007 was obviously a quality rather than quantity thing), we could do better.

flag bearer i can do, reliable, well thats up for debate.
i shall however be wearing butterfly wings and antenna without fail, and at night you'll spot me with my bright blue led lights (easily found or avoided).

Could someone come up with a suitable symbol, subtle yet distinctive- much like this forum(!?) by which members could be recognised? Or we could do 'Forum Bingo', see if fellow members could be spotted by their taste in tents, kitchen gadgets, gas fired fridges, fishing trollies, 31 litres of frozen festival strength cider, foul smelling (hired) wellies and bongoes.... We might even have a competion to see who gets the most. Does anyone remember 'Chalkie White' who used to be in the 'Daily Mirror'? Chalkie would be wandering around a seaside resort and readers were invited to spot him. They would walk up to him and say: 'you are Chalky White and I claim my five Pounds'. We could spot Chris. Walk up to him and say 'You are Chris of the Pinstripes and I claim my free pint'. Yes? Hmm. My GRandad was once mistaken fOr Chalkie White at Barry Island on the club outing. People kept on walking up to him. 'You are Chalkie White and I claim my five pounds' they'd say. 'Fuck off, my names Aelfryn and I haven't got five pounds.' he'd say. He soon had a gang of kids hanging round him waiting for him to swear at a stranger again. He would have loved the Green Man.

Sorry I wasn't there for this - by the time we got set up and met up with our group, it was getting on in time a bit. It was only when someone asked me if I had gone to the meet that I remembered about it - at about 10pm.

Next year will be different... I will get to the festival early and I will have a whole year to learn to play my guitar, no amount of time will sort my singing out though

Hey all! I met up with a handfull of people last year..a girl with cool hair and fairy/butterfly wings which I'm assuming was you faeriekisses? aaand I guy with an awesome beard who played some damien rice on the milk float stage? I was the skinny girl with the guitar and the dad who kept purchasing her far too much cider for a lass her age may not remember but it was nice to meet some friendly folk. I'm bringing a newbie this year

My attendance at anything at Glanusk on the Thursday depends on on two - no three things- the tent tent and how pissed i am and state of DAUGHTERS . If I can match Alcohol consumption with TENT ERECTION then I can do anything. If TENT ERECTION speed is slowoooooer than drink consumption then I go to sleep. If drink consumption is slower than tent construction then I go off and shout at owls etc. The third factor is DAUGHTERS. IF daughters happy then I can go and meet people. If daughters unhappy I have to appease them. There is a complex mathematical formulae which can be used to calculate the probability of my attendance at a meet. Last year I f***ed it up real bad, and ended up pissed in a field in Glanusk with a collapsed complex tent and shouty daughters. It was only the arrival of friends from England that helped me cope. I don't know why I am telling you this.. but i feel......well...we almost know eachother (collectively). By the way- all the Cyfarthfas agree this year that it is going to be HOT HOT HOT.......
