I'm delighted that the summer's finally here. I'm going to Glastonbury next week, and no sooner than I recover from that, it'll be Green Man time. I feel like a kid when it's nearly Christmas.

I like the countdown thing on the main page, it makes it all feel so much sooner! It does feel more like summer now
And I've got Tom Waits (and a weekend in Edinburgh) to look forwards to between now and then ;D

Wow - two weeks today I'll be basking in the sunshine listening to Truckers of Husk watching the wispy white clouds float above Sugar Loaf Mountain . . . . either that or it'll be pissing down and I'll be helping my kids make masks in the children's tent. Either way it will be FAB - bring it on! ;D

Long time since I've been on this website, but the countdown timer proclaiming that there are only 11(!!) days left has made me rather excited. And the fact that I've just finished my flag.

I feel your pain. Me and my flag making partner had no ideas, and we never thought we'd be able to top next years one, but after a few Raki and juices we managed to break through the wall.
If you see or hear anything about "Das Whale. Industrial German Techno" then think of me and my team.

I'm giggling like a little schoolgirl at the prospect of this years green man, went last year and after having enough of the teenage mess that is Leeds festival I had an amazing festival experience. I found it amazing how a festival of such a relatively smallish size could change from tranquility to madness so quickly, One minute I was savouring the beautiful voice of Joanna Newsom and the next I was bumping into Gordon Anderson from the Aliens and dancing like a dick in the rumpus room.
All this and the only time I got woken up was when a child tripped over the guidewire of my tent and started crying, and I was the one that felt guilty..
I'm sure I will bump into some of you whilst queuing for pieminister or a gorgeous bit of scrumpy and if I don't have a good one!

I will be taking my extremly large red hat, and the inflatable dolphin may well come for the ride too... They have pieminister? Yeah.
