We could get a post-punk theme going here - Young Marble Giants and the Mekons . . . how about Scritti Politti, the Raincoats (OK so they'd have to reform as well) and the Gang of Four to headline?

'Ghost of American Astronauts' 'Hole in the Ground' 'Blow Your Tuneless Trumpet' would love to here any of those.... at greenman next year... talking of Post punk bands that may or may not fit into the mould of greenman... lets' have Johnny Brown and his Band of Holy Joy there..... they have started playing live and recording again of late... although not in his native north east

Always felt that YMG Mekons Delta5 etc were pretty close to folk in their aesthetic approach, likewise the lovely Raincoats. YMG were the 'house band' at Grassroots in Cardiff Alison later went on to be in the almost as wonderful BOmb&Dagger who played in Chapter a lot. Wouldn't seeing these again either. Didn't YMG reform for the Hay Festival this year? Anyone see them?

I read a feature on Edwyn Collins in Mojo recently, I dubt he'll be playing live any time soon. One of his arms is still quite immobile so he has to play the guitar with his wife's help. His new record was recorded before his health problems, just needed mixing afterwards apparently.
