Hi all
I just wanted to say how excited i am, as this year we are attending our first Green Man Festival, myself, the wife and our two young children (1 & 6 yo, will they like it). But the reason i'm posting is to ask for suggestions on who i should listen too musically, to give us a feel of what green man offers. i like Joanna Newsom and a big fan of SFA who headline this year but the names on previous years are foreign to me, anyone help.
thanks scot

Good stuff, I'm sure you will enjoy it.
It's hard to say where to start, so many good people have played. Maybe have a listen to King Creosote and Misty's Big Adventure, they've played the last two and are highlights for me.

Hi gents,
thanks for the tips.
Downloaded a bit of King Creosote (gonna have listen later), Misty's Big Adventure supported the Zutons when i last saw them and i think i chose to stay in the pub till the Zutons came on, gutted now. As for Vetiver, i have an album "Too find me gone" i think its called, its magic. It all sounds good to me, i'm right excited.
Is the green man good for the kidsas at 6yo and 1yo they are having there first festival experience.
cheers scot

The kids will have a beano- lots of space and activities. I really hope we get some good weather- this area is so special in late summer light on the limestone. The great thing about this festival me is stumbling on nuggets of gold I have never heard before by chance.
