I must say I can't see what all the fuss is with her, and I don't really like her voice, but I watched her at the greenman in 2005 and she really was great live. Probably the best thing there. So if you are in two minds I guess I would recommend it.

thanks  I wish M Ward was playing again! The first time I heard Joanna Newsom I was in the pub and it was very confusing, but now I really like her

My local lets you add your own CDs to the jukebox, so we get Joanna quite a lot

My local lets you add your own CDs to the jukebox, so we get Joanna quite a lot  that would be amazing! all the pubs near me with jukeboxes are 'rock pubs' where if there was the option to put Joanna on it would probably get me kicked out! we have quite a few good pubs for music though, and a tea shop that plays scary carnival music for the last hour before they close to try and confuse people into leaving
