I emailed Jo about this a while ago, and the good news is that it's only a short walk from the car parking to the campsite.

I was going to ask this too! has anyone had any problems going out and getting back into the car park? I may have to drive my friends to the train station on the thursday night, so they can go off to a gig in cardiff...

I can't see how you could have any problem on the Thursday evening. There'll be lots of people dropping off friends and relatives. A lot of people won't be arriving until the following day.

The site REALLY filled up from Friday pm. The car park is VERY close to the site - hell, the WHOLE site is all close together. I think the only issue is the vastly increased capacity and how this will effect the speed with which the site fills up. You can see some pics of the camping area in this set of pics that I took last year: www.flickr.com/photos/drewbuddie/sets/72157594247666105/

Last year there were NO problems returning to cars the site is so remote there are likely to be few people sneaking in so the access is via one gate and the car park is just to the side of that gate and you could get in and out of the site with your car - indeed some people just came for the day. But I would not want to lose a space I parked my car in if I arrived early - if I could help it. If you've not been before the laid back nature of security (after all they are OXFAM volunteers ) etc will PLEASANTLY surprise you!
