Yes, it has finally turned up thank you for asking. It appears to have come via Dublin for some reason. I am begining to feel that to be properly equiped you should have more than one tent. Unfortunately I also feel this about stringed instriments, bicycles and computers. I fear that this may an interst too far.

As an adendum to the above: have you noticed how all the things that you are really interested in that are of suitable quality ALWAYS seem to cost the same= decent bike/guitar/tent/stereo etc. I am going to try and sort this. Build a new banjo out of an icecream box broom handle, fishing line and catskin and make a tent out of bent twigs, twine and tarpaulin. At least no passing Jarge will think them worthwhile stealing.

You're brave !
We were away weekend before last and while the days were beautiful, the nights were bloody freezing.
Had intended another weekend to do some work on the camper, but we're pretty booked over the next few weeks and will probably leave it 'till next year and hope for a mild March.

I've just invested in what claim to be 'four' season sleeping bags, plus an extra layer to fit them in. I am reserving judgement as to their effectivness, but we're off to a wedding in Llangynidyr next weekend and I don't want to drive back after, we'll give it a go. If they really are 'four' season, then think of the opportunities that open up.

back now from my australian jaunt, was nice to go camping there and wake up in a pool of sweat. i'm afraid it will be the four seasons bag for the green man though. back to reality.

Welcome back.... and 'four season' don't mean 'four season in Wales, even in a mild winter, with fancy insert. I have already started building up spiritual credit with every Deity I can think of. Surely, this year, it won't rain...

How about a horse drawn waggon, either a 'gypsy' style one or one of of 'Waggon Train'. You could arrive and put then in a circle around the fire and make snied and cutting remarks about bongos.
