I found - as a tip - that huge IKEA bags were great for carrying a load of stuff from car to tent. This saved many return journeys. Also, as the car park is easily accessible I urge people to take only what they need to their tent and leave stuff like Sunday's clothes in the car til Saturday night  . |

BTW you can also see how close the arena is with the entrance to that being where the huge right hand speakers set meets the large green and white stripey marquee. The green and white marquee is the bar area but we are looking at the back of it in this pic.  |

I'm not convinced that the entrance has changed this year, I seem to remember passing the campervan only entrance last year and having to drive all the way round to the car park one. However, I'm quite sure we exited on the Monday through the campervan entrance. I'm confused.

Turns out the walk from the car wasn't quite what we expected, eh? Note to self - pack lighter next time. I think it depends where you were. If you were just inside the entrance gate which was still possible up to the Friday morning, then you could be only 5 mins from the car park. With the increased capacity people were spread much further afield than last year, hence my comment of '5 mins' was inaccurate in those cases. Still I made 4 heavily laden journeys from deep in the Family section (a 15 min walk - I timed myself) at start and end and I have to say I found those acceptable. |
