hiya! this is me first post so go gentle. sorry to bore readers with my domestic arrangements but it's important...'ish I live quite near to Crick' (just over the mountain in the "Badlands") and I plan to be setting up on Thursday evening with my 10yr old son. My missus can't come this year as we've a 9 month old boy as well. Also I have to take her to a hospital appointment in Cardiff first thing on friday morning. Now, What i wanted to know was, should I abandon the idea of setting up on thursday and leave arriving at the site until friday afternoon and hope to get a spot in the family area - or, will i be able to get out of the carpark early on friday morning by bribing a friendly steward??? mail your answer too: youhaventgottafeckinchancemate@xxx.co.uk

You'll be ok to leave the site at any time as long as it's not too muddy, so as long as the glorious sunshine continues there's no problem.

You'll get out of the site WITHOUT bribing anyone -- BUT you may find on your return that the car park is 'heaving' . Have you thought about a taxi for all your journeys so you don't lose your space? IMHO you need to think about how busy it may be when you RETURN to get back into the site.
