"1 x Very large & very sharp hunting knife (?)"
If thieves are reading this, that might put them off.

I just wondered if I'm in the running for the 'Huge Amounts of Gear' award? I think you win! I'll be travelling light, but then I only have a small fiat to fit 3 people and gear in, but one of the people is tiny so we should be ok

Minimal gear and train! Also, making my friends carry the stuff, as I have a bad back, is win.
But, yeah, that's an awful lot of stuff. I hope you go home with all/most of it

I shall be strategically placing my full urine bottle to deter thieves!

Do you want me to delete the references to the flag to be safe. Warthog?

I noticed Warthog is bringing a gas stove. I take it it's fine to have those on the campsite then?
I'm thinking of bringing one because my dad brought one down from the loft and it is amazingly good, and I think he'll be sort of offended if I don't take it now. It's obviously pretty heavy, and cooking is a bit of a chore particularly when you're hungover/bladdered so leaving it at home won't be the end of the world.

I was thinking about taking a gas stove, but I don't think I'm likely to feel bothered to cook... it would be nice to be able to make tea and toast at the tent though

I noticed Warthog is bringing a gas stove. I take it it's fine to have those on the campsite then? As far as I can remember, my friend emailed the organisers to ask if gas stoves are allowed, and, in true Green Man fashion, we got a swift reply politely stating that they are fine.

I'll bring it then, but will probably leave it in the car!

I'm going to be doing most of my eating at the tent. And, if I'm allowed, cook something up at the tent and take it into the arena for a quick snack later. Mmm, noodles!

as seasoned campers we always cook at the tent apart from lunch snacky things. we'll bring a large ice box which should keep things fresh at least until sunday morning, a box of food and a couple of stoves (an open fire would of course be better). last year's chicken stir fry was wonderfull and a roll and square sausage or porrige for breaky each morning is just the thang...maaaan.
