ploughing through the barren wastelands of identikit post-punk landfill on the bill but have stumbled onto one thing, finally, that i wasn't familiar with - but might be great TTSSFU on friday morning think i'll probably be nipping over to rising in between marta del grandi and malice k Saw TTSSFU at the Green Man Rising final and they’re worth a look. I thought the winners, The Orchestra (For Now) were good too, but they are a little too similar to Black Country New Road. I’d prefer to have seen them on the Rising Stage but can’t deny them their moment in the sun.

couldn't get on with TO(FN)
so many folks doing that wonky jazzy angular post-punk thing, it's just worn me out
it has to be really properly good to stand out
i think english teacher do it very well
as did lazarus kane when they were still together
and modern woman are up there with beefheart
but most of it just washes over me like an abandoned wire demo

Two late discoveries.
Malice K! Oh yes. Getting Big Star, Badfinger, Mathew Sweet, Elliot Smith. Another must see for me. If I can’t have the Lemon Twigs then this will do.
Lemoncello. Really growing in me. Mantelpiece I really like. Voice.

Hi all, I'm late to the party as usual so thanks for all the pointers above .. will help in populating the clashfinder. This year's ticketing fiasco has required me to offer my labour in return for admittance to the hallowed fields so I'm hoping that my shifts align with the 'filler' and not the 'killer' on the lineup (The stewarding organisation is as big a fucking shambles as everything else so no one knows what shifts they're on yet - I really wonder how they actually manage to pull off the event every year ) Looking forward to seeing y'all

There was an option to volunteer for Settlers but I couldn't afford to sacrifice that much annual leave. I need to join the men of leisure brigade I will be there by Wednesday evening for the Stewards briefing (around 6pm I think) and will wander down to the Settlement once that's out of the way.
