Is it just me or does it seem that they've moved the entrances to the site around for this year?
Just having a look at the ticket and google maps, I don't remember anything about driving for 6 miles over the hills and then right until you reach a bridge from last time...

Oh no not again I remember the entrance location crisis last year .... off to have a look at ticket .... back again You're not wrong. I'd only glanced at the live-in vehicles bit when the ticket arrived and this is the same as last year. However it looks like the general camping entrance is also at the 'back' of the site (off the B4558), just a bit further west (This was the exit from the family / live-in car park last year). The directions on the ticket are a little bizarre. Basically they're sending everyone on a long loop around some very scenic but slightly hairy B road routes, leaving the A40 main road free for the shuttle bus from Abergavanny station Personally, if I wanted the general camping area, I'd follow the directions on the back of the ticket for FAMILY CAMPING & LIVE IN VEHICLES, and carry on along the road to the next entrance. Another alternative is to go through Abergavenny and along the A40 to Crickhowell. Keep to the right through the village (past the Bear Inn) - then take the next left (there's a campsite signposted this way). Go over the narrow bridge and turn right when you reach the T junction (signposted Talybont-on-Usk). The family / live-in entrance will be first in about half a mile, with the general camping shortly afterwards.

Confirmation (and request) from organisers taken from the official forums - Could everyone please follow the directions on the back of the ticket. The route is planned with the council to manage the increased numbers of vehicles.
There maybe quicker routes but you are more likely to encounter bottle necks and traffic jams if you use them.
All the camping access routes are not off the A40 as the car parks have been moved.
It's up to the few people that will view this thread before setting off to decide whether they want to act 'official' or 'unofficial'

BBC Wales is reporting that there's problems on the A40/A465/A4054(?) at the Hardwick roundabout- fuel spill blocked it up, and traffic is diverted around Abergavenny Town Center. Great.

My tickets don't have travel instructions on the back(they are Ticketline ones, they have terms and conditions on the tickets), could someone please repost the driving directions that should be on the back of them?
Thanks a lot!

Head for Abergavenny (assuming you're coming from the East) and pick up the AA signs - it's always been well sign-posted in previous years with separate directions for family and general camping

Please choose the route to your gate: there are separate ones for General Camping, Family Camping & Live in Vehicles and Artists & Crew. While travelling please follow the temporary Green Man Festival road signs as you may find alternate routes blocked due to traffic flow.

After approx 2.5 miles you will come to a set of traffic lights with Crickhowell to your right. Continue straight over onto the B4558 for approx 1.5 miles and the Family/Live In Gate is on your right. From the North & West / A40: Follow the A40 until Bwlch. As you drive out of Bwlch turn right onto the B4560 signposted to Llangynidr. After approx 2 miles turn left at the T Junction onto the B4558. Continue for approx 2 miles go past the General Camping, continue for approx 0.5 miles and the Family/Live In Gate is on your left.
