I'm bexj, and a first-timer at GreenMan! I've wanted to try a smaller fest for a while, having been to Glasto too many times to remember. What's it like at Greenman? The site, the vibe, the facilities?

What's it like at Greenman? The site, the vibe, the facilities? Site: Beautiful views, most of the time. Vibe: Great. Facilities: Adequate. This will be my third visit to the GM, despite the competition from other festivals on at the same time.

Hello all! Been shyly reading the forum for a while now but thought it would be a good time to introduce myself. I'm Chris and this is my first Green Man and its all very exciting really. I've never really done festivals before, mainly because I lived in London for a while where you get to see everyone play eventually anyway, and because I'm not very fond of big crowds But I've become really enthusiastic about all things musical once more in the last year or so having let things pass me by for a couple of years, and festivals like Green Man seem like just what I need So yeah, I'm looking forward to music, beer, smiles and hopefully might meet some of you people, or at least the friendly ones!

I am Liability Bennett, and my boyfriend is a 6ft Invisible Bunny. We will be in A&E by the time the tent is up, but nobody will believe we're there. Luckily we have antiseptic wipes, Spiritualised & SFA to placate us before the Alkaseltzer kicks in. If you see a couple of oddballs taking a mini axe to a frozen bottle of water, don't call the doctors, just ask for an A&E Special, and we'll see what we can knock you up in our (plastic) cocktail shaker of glory.

Hi everybody! I'm Tracy and a first time festivaller (?) I live in Crickhowell and have been a fan of Super Furry Animals and Gruff Rhys for 10 years so this years festival seemed too much to miss as couldn't make it last year. Been checking out the other acts and finding some real jems, although so many clashes........
I've been told that GM is a very friendly, family festival so I'm bringing my 3 offspring Thursday and Friday - but will ship them off to grandparents from Friday night - so I can really let my hair down! See you soon!
