Hi I'm Drew - I came last year with my 2 kids and had just the most FANTABULOUS time so much so I have returned this year. Green MAn is my summer holiday and this time not only are my kdis with me again but I have enticed 3 other families to come too! I have looked forward to this weekend for a whole year!

I'm Adrian, a second timer. Looking forward to some people whose music I already know and like, and many more whose I don't and will.

I'm Chris - my first Green Man. Hoping to meet like minded people and listen to groovy music, and fingers crossed for a bit of sunshine. Please be nice to the Oxfam Stewards - I was one at WOMAD - they work their arses off and try their best to help. They can also grant three wishes if you rub their lamps (they keep them hidden under their tabards).

Second Green Man, after falling madly, sadly and unrequitedly in love with KC last year... Bringing with me an assortment of strangely bearded men, midwives and small children. Looking forward to pretty much all of it (including some sunshine).

Hello. I was a board and frequenter last year. Unfortunately, we bought Workhouse and Glade festie tickets this year (both festies were on a weekend where we had that torrential rain and flooding- you couldn't get OFF the Glade site on the Sat even if you wanted to hahahaha!) so am hoping and praying that a last minute miracle see us being able to buy a ticket at a knock down price. Don't laugh, we can all dream. We are willing to buy tickets right up until the Saturday (we live about 45mins from Abergavenny) so please remember us if you hear of anyone desperate (!) to sell... Our email / phone is on the tickets thread. Hope you all have a smashing Green Man, loved it last year and regretting not buying our tickets for 2007. All the best you muddy funsters Em (and Bob) X

Hi I'm mojopearl. I'm a girl from kent. It nearly went tits up an hour ago, as a relative who was going to look after my mum pulled out last minute but has now changed her mind back. I had to have a few glasses of wine to steady myself. I'm a first timer to the Green Festical and after looking at this site I'm so ready and excited. See you all there. Let the sun shine - and if not it - after nearly not going - it will for me. I'm Haaappppyyyy.

Hi there. I'm Rogerio and, as my girlfriend had to give up the festival this year, I'm basically going to enjoy it on my own. Look forward to meet some cool people there. Will arrive on Friday lunch time. See you there!

G'day,
Not really a new member per say, as I existed on the old message boards, subsequently its taken me this long to find these boards despite the seemingly massive signs from various places on the interwebs. Yes anyway rambling here, I didn't go to GM 07 this year due to monetary concerns and the fact that I'd already spent the best part of any spare money I had at this year's All Tomorrow Parties (but that's by the by). I was however massively impressed by the organisation at GM 06 so much so that I'm definitely getting in early for next years festivities.
Hopefully the numbers won't increase too much next year and the oft mentioned lack of people picking up after themselves will also be solved, as its a shame to see such a lovely estate ruined by a few unthinking bods.

I think I have a few others that came out like that, a combination of it being really late and my need to play with the ISO settings on the camera.

(As long as Oxfam still have the job) Nice, I've never worked at a festival. How is the work/play ratio, do you get much free time to watch the bands?

Hi folks. Got my 2008 tickets on day of release for my 3rd GM. Loving it! Been on my own to the last two but will meet up with friends met at the front of the Folky Dokey stage on Friday this year.
