Mark Kozelek is doing a small gig in Manchester soon, thinking of going. A couple of my mates run Hey!Manchester promotions and are putting him on.

There is a nice Mark Kolelek Podcast here: podcasts.yahoo.com/episode?s=87386a1736ac8b72f7608471c5906f47&e=38It's half an hour acoustic session and interview. If you check out the KEXP Performance Podcast archive there's quite a lot of good ones. You might have to log in to get it from the Yahoo page - you don't need to specifically register, just use your Yahoo Email User and Password (most people have them don't they?). |

it was one of the most mesmerising gigs I have ever witnessed, only 2 RHP songs.... but it didn't matter, some great songs from 'Rock N Roll Singer' ...... absolutely amazing..... would love him to play greenman though.....

Totally hypnotic, what a voice.
Took a bit of foot-stamping but I was both intensely happy and relieved when he finally gave us an encore. Shame a few didn't stick around for it...
