Stephen Malkmus is a definite for me, with Joanna Bolme on bass, and ex Sleater-Kinney/Quasi Janet Weiss behind the drums. Love his solo work.
Joanna Newsom essential. I've listened to her albums on loop for months and months and months.
Bill Callahan - he's as hot as hell and has the sexiest voice. Caught him a few months back in Manchester. Love him!
Battles - I keep missing them. Their single Atlas sounds like it's sung by evil marching squirrels.
Seasick Steve is on my list - a colleague caught him at Big Chill and highly recommends.
Also looking forward to checking out loads of people I've not heard of. I love coming away from festivals with new favourite bands!
