Hi Gizem,
If you look to the left of your map of Britain, you'll see Wales.
Down the bottom there's Cardiff and Newport - well the Green Man site is a few miles north of Newport.
How will you get to Britain? If you are flying, Cardiff or Bristol airports are the nearest.
It's about 3-4 hours from London by train or coach, or if you were travelling from the south of England there are direct trains from Portsmouth to South Wales (cheaper than going through London)
Hope you make it to the festival.

I hope you manage to get here. Keep in touch as you travel. Nearer the time of the festival there will be lots more travel information and people offering to share lifts etc. I almost feel guilty living so close

ehieh yeaap i will manage everything, and maybe, i will find somebody in my travel who will come your festival! thanks for everything ^^ and yeap, you can't feel guilty, because i'm working in a festival in there, it's calling "barışarock" [rock for peace], and my house is very close to the festival's location, it's very good thing for festival's direction

Don't feel guilty perdiot, wasn't it you who provided the recon last year with photos of the site as they put it together? And camera on hand to peer over the fence again this year ... or if we can arrange some 'official' access to the site, some more intimate photos of the preparations Gisem, Having looked up the Barisarock festival, I can certainly say that many of its values underpin the Green Man festival. The organisation is, by necessity, a little more commercial but the values of the performers and the majority of the audience are very much the same.

You're soo right peridot! In the first years, the festival committee weren't in favour of commercials, but then they had to be, because the festival is free. But this brought about a good thing, very qualified musicians started to take part. For example, there were guests from foreigner countries last year, like God is An Astronaut, or.. Boikot -from Spain..etc.
I probably won't be there this year, but I hope to come to your festival and feel the same atmosphere in your festival as well !
